How did you come to play at your Club:My brother Daniel decided to join the club in 2008 and myself and sister Megan Hiller decided to come and watch a game of netball and the then coach who I had previously played with asked if I would come to play, My father had played for North Bendigo when he was younger and I had always decided that I would go to a club that my father once played for.
2009 SEASON HIGHLIGHT: North girls A grade making to the finals and also A res winning there first match in many years.
2009 SEASON LOWLIGHT:Losing to Colbo in the Finals. Great win for them to take out the Grand final though.
2010 SEASON INDIVIDUAL GOALS: To enjoy the season stress free.
Netball has always been a popular sport participation wise, but at the same time has struggled for exposure and recognition in many ways. What do you think can be done to change that at local and elite level?
I don’t think that its as much not recognised within the community but more so in a Football/Netball Club of things, Football seems to be the more important thing to a club then the netball.
My favourite Social event to be involved in at my Club is……………
Any of the Club events are great to be involved with as you really do get to know individuals for who they are and not as what they are as a Footy/Netball player.
