Bulldogs prepare to take on the dominant Demons in HDNA Rnd 3 action.

HDNA big improvers North Bendigo will attempt to claim a big scalp this Saturday in the form of White Hills in the clash set to played at Mckern Oval.
The Bulldogs who have been a perennial struggler in recent years have hit the court running with two strong performances to start the season. Their Round 1 performance to play out an exciting draw with regular finalist Colbinabbin was backed up last weekend with they won a thrilling match against rivals Huntly by the barest of margin 1 goal.
New Coach Jayde Poole who arrived at Atkins st following stints with the Bendigo Strikers, Calivil United and Newbridge has well pleased with the efforts thus far ‘’ It’s been a fantastic learning experience for me personally. There are only three players from last year so we are still learning to play with one and another and we are improving at a fast rate with every game that we play’’.

Despite the impressive start to the season the Coach isn’t setting any major goals for the season ahead ‘’I don’t have any goals of making it to the finals this year although that would be great. I’m more focussed with us girls just getting this season under our belt first and just take every game week by week. The real goal that I have for myself is to have more wins on the board than last year’’.
The task of bringing the Demons who have played in the past 9 grand Finals winning 8 of them unstuck will be an almighty one though as they carry the tag of Premiership favourites at this stage with their dynamic outfit.
The Bulldogs 23 year old leader is well aware of the challenge ahead ‘’ A hard, tough and discipline game is needed for this Saturday. White Hills are the bench mark and a fantastic team, we just have to play our game the best we can and hopefully that will keep us in a good stead’’.
Loyal North Bendigo servant Alison Walsh will mark her 150th game with the Bulldogs in this battle and her work in defence along with Shellie Davies and Stacee Harvey to restrict the Demons scoring will be vital to the Doggies chances.
Sharp in attack! The Demons are strong in goals.
In summary it should be a great battle from start to finish and while the Bulldogs look to have the talent to score a victory here the Demons winning culture will be a might hard hurdle to jump. White Hills to win by 6 goals.
